  • Does sitting or standing up “straight” feel like a lot of effort?
  • Do you get stiff or sore in your back or shoulders?
  • Would you like to learn effortless ways to perform physical tasks and actually get pleasure out of exercise?

Husband and wife Joseph Wang and Joanna Myers co-teach this class that uses principles of Tai Chi and the Feldenkrais method to help you rediscover your natural body alignment—PSSST, that means A LOT LESS WORK! You’ll also discover ingenious ways to undo habitual tension patterns that interfere with skeletal alignment, so you can feel balanced and comfortable without having to constantly monitor or correct your posture.

Students are asked to bring a mat or large blanket and two towels for the floor exercises. Classes will combine gentle movements in sitting, standing, lying, and interactive play, and are designed for teens through adults who can get down and up off the floor without assistance. If you have physical restrictions or chronic difficulties, please contact Joseph or Joanna to see if this class will work for you.
